I was walking home from my weekend run in Central Park when I spotted Betsey Johnson having brunch near Sarabeth’s. Couldn’t miss her. Red lipstick, bunned pigtails, and dark eyes. After passing her, I took a few steps back, waved, and gestured a heart near my chest. She bowed her head modestly and mouthed thank you.
I skipped home.
