It’s the first day of fashion week and aside from the sad, morbid, and shocking news of Alexander McQueen’s untimely death, the weather was crisp and some of the collections were refreshing. Our favorite designer of the day was Kimberly Ovitz. New to the runway scene, two years fresh, Ovitz reminds us that we don’t have wear tight clothes and stilettos to be sexy.

Ovitz remained consistent throughout her 55 look collection – asymmetry, mesh, basic dresses with a touch of sex, and shoes to die for. We love a bootie with a street stopping sole.
