With much anticipation I pressed play and with much disappointment I began searching the web as the song played in the background. For nine minutes and thirty–two seconds I was confused by an assortment of mixed movie montages.
Lady Gaga and Beyonce’s video premiere of “Telephone” was inconsistent and lacked serious focus.
The opening scene was reminiscent of “Cry Baby” and the ending channeled “Thelma and Louise.” Some horrible highlights consisted of cigarette glasses with a smoking effect, ladies kissing, girls fighting, ripped tights, studded bikini tops, and a mention of Lady Gaga’s rumored man parts.
After witnessing what seems to be a forced combination of talent, we vote in favor of enjoying the two renowned artists separately.
