It’s a toss up . Whether you’re headed to a black tie affair or a “fancy” party you don’t want to ruin your outfit with your everyday coat. Yes, if it’s a fancy place there will be a coat check. But if I’m hopping in a cab on a cold night then it’s worth the chill for a hot second. No one wants to cart a coat.

Recently I have spotted jackets on the red carpet and at fashion parties. The two celebrities spotted below make the coat apart of their outfit.

Kristen Stewart covered her olive green dress with this chic double breasted black trench.

And Liya Kebede looked classic with this trench tied neatly at the waist. The black tights and strappy sandals really make the the jacket pop. We’re loving the pushed up sleeves.
