WHAT: Something New

I’ve spent a lot of time at Forever 21 and H&M lusting after the $5 accessories. I am lusting after the cheap price point; not the awe inspiring designs. There are times, like right now, when I would rather spend a lump sum on something special rather than buy 100 replicated items.

Laura Lombardi has inspired this post with her innovative, creative, and one of a kind jewelry. When I stumbled gratefully upon her Etsy shop, I immediately wanted to buy a piece, worried they would sell out!

One of my favorites is this gunmetal layered necklace. The hot pink howlite daggers put a masculine spin on pink. And at $58 you’re getting a piece that you can wear with anything. My apparel of choice would be a white or black v-neck tee.

The versatility and range of the collection had me swooning over a necklace that is the compete opposite of the one above. This bar chain brass necklace can be worn with a strapless dress or a spaghetti strap tank.

WHO: J.Crew Personal Shopper

This past weekend I had the ABSOLUTE pleasure of shopping with one of J.Crew’s personal shoppers. Not only did I love the whole experience but Joann, my personal shopper at the Freehold Raceway Mall, was helpful, adhered to my shopping needs, and gave a nice discount just for making an appointment with her!

I purchased this gorgeous necklace, which I am wearing right now.
