The weather couldn’t have been more beautiful today. The sun was shining and birds were chirping. However, my outfit wasn’t up to par. I found myself wishful dressing.

What were my wishes? A pair of, never outdated, black jodhpurs complete with a pair of equally timeless, oxfords. There has been a lot of dark clothes walking the streets of New York City, especially since the grey weather streak we had last week. We broke it up with a gold metallic tank top by Derek Lam. Mixing metals is our favorite trend. If you have too much jewelry and don’t know which metal to choose, mix it up! It’s okay. We mixed silver jewelry with the gold metallic tank. The silver watch is very casual which allows room to go glam around the neck. We splurged on the lightweight leather jacket – it’s just perfect for spring and was calling our name!

I am a morning runner. I like to get it over with early. It’s almost like sleep walking, except you’re running. I have thought about jetting to the gym after work BUT once I climb the five flights to my apartment the couch looks pretty appealing.
