WHO: Angelina and Aniston

W Magazine

W Magazine

In July of 2005 just as the Brad and Angelina love affair leaked, W Magazine displayed a sexy yet domestic spread of the Mr. and Mrs. Smith stars. But it’s only a photo shoot, right?

Photographer Steven Klein’s vision was more of a premonition than a sexy, seductive tale of bodies that, behind the lace and dim lighting, were “truly” in love.

Fast-forward five years and you have Aniston covering W with the same look in her eyes. Her skin is seeping through sexy clothes and she’s paired with a handsome actor – rumored lover, Gerard Butler.  Another one of Klein’s sexy, psychic photo shoots perhaps?

Currently Craving: Melody Ehsani

Welcome to our new category – Currently Craving. This section covers all that we’re presently obsessed with.

For our first craving we would like to introduce you to Melody Ehsani. The pieces in her collection are somewhat risky but bold and most definitely fresh.

Check out these silver metallic, peep toe, platforms  - They’re wildly hot and retail under $200!

We’re on the verge of “over” bib necklaces but this hot pink and black combo have us second guessing.

Sunday Sit Down: Spring Time

Picture 1

Spring is around the corner and it blossomed this weekend with lightweight coats and crowded parks.

Normally animals grow extra fur to keep warm throughout the chilly winter weather, but facial hair for spring is hot. Literally. (We’re not implying that men are animals…really). Along with beards and staches, milatary green and brass buttons will be marching the streets. We’re looking forward to nude lips and clogged feet – wooden soles and neutrals are on the most wanted list.

WHAT: Art + Accessories

At the Bag Trends Party for LaLucca handbags, there were some great works of art by Peter Tunney that accompanied the unique, hand painted clutches. See below for some of New and Worthy’s favorite items. We’ve expressed some sadness recently realizing that fashion as art has been absent from the scene – this event was refreshing. Thank you Bag Trends for another awesome event!

WHO: Horton Hears One

We are inspired that Michelle Obama took time out of her busy schedule to read to 200 local students in honor of Dr. Suess’ birthday. She recited the rhyming lines from “The Cat In The Hat” to children wearing red and white high hats!

WHERE: Snowed In

Crazy weather we’re having. Whether you’re snowed in or trekking through the snow powdered streets, being warm and cozy can still be stylish.

This sweater (not entire outfit) is sexy yet warm. Boy By Band Of Outsiders takes knit to a new level with this silver large knit top.

Just because the skies are grey doesn’t mean your wardrobe should match. Play it up with some color from Marc by Marc Jacobs.

Preppy never looked so good with this white and navy knit by Lacoste. Yes, it’s short sleeves but one of our favorite looks is layering with a long sleeve to keep even warmer.

WHY: Love The Bag, Love The Shoes

We’ll take one of everything. Is it too early to create outfits from Fall ’10’s genius?

Burberry – be still our hearts. The cobalt blue brings tears to our eyes, studded clutches have us grabbing, and belted, slouchy booties…could we ask for anything more?

We can’t splurge on the above but you will definitely see us in something similar.

Thank you Christopher Bailey. Putting the trench in your back pocket and going for bold. Smart.
