HOW: A Fashionable Yogi

Almost every weekend we either drag ourselves or happily stroll, to Yoga To The People – depending on our mood.  The end result is always the same – content, a little more flexible, and carefree (until we get shoved into a hot and sweaty subway car…OMMMMMM.)

We find the more comfortable we are in our yoga attire the better the experience can be.  Check out some of our favorite yoga pieces.

We love the fitted, tattoo print Yellowman tank. It comes in both a gorgeous turquoise and magenta color. If you’re in the market for a bag that will hold all your Yoga gear, this Dakine Avoni Yoga bag is stylish and spacious in an all over tonal leopard print. And for these hot summer months we choose the shortest, lightest shorts. Nike makes a comfortable dri-FIT fabric designed to control your sweat and keep you dry. WHO: Gym Rats

I am a morning runner. I like to get it over with early. It’s almost like sleep walking, except you’re running. I have thought about jetting to the gym after work BUT once I climb the five flights to my apartment the couch looks pretty appealing. I would love to invest in a gym bag to motivate me through those gym doors at 7:30pm.

There is no way I am passing NYSC with my gear in tow. For $128 you can get this spacious, black LeSportSac which is suitable for weekend getaways, carry-ons, and a gym companion. It is also available in cream. Get running!

WHO: My Best Friend

“How do you do it?” This is the question that most people ask when I tell them I was up and running (literally) at 530am.

And when they ask I answer with the obvious…habit, motivation, outlet…but I thought about it this morning as I was strapping on my running shoes, this makes it easy.

I have been running in the same brand and style, buying new ones every 6-8 months, for over three years. They are comfortable, fit my feet, and I hardly suffer from shin splints, runners knee, and any other ailment excusing runners from the treadmill or pavement. These black Asics are one of the many reasons I love to run.

Asics

There is nothing more motivating than a comfortable run.
Everyone’s feet are different: flat, arched, narrow…to find a fashionable pair to get you running comfortably see below.
Have a great weekend and safe Halloween.
